Kate Brownfield is an ADHD parent coach, author, and former media executive based in the San Francisco Bay Area. She founded ADHD Kids Can Thrive to support parents of children aged 4–19 with ADHD, offering practical, research-based strategies through coaching, writing, and podcasting.
Through her coaching business, Kate provides education in ADHD and executive function for parents, helping them move from feeling overwhelmed to empowered. Her services include classes and one-on-one support, focusing on practical tools tailored to each family’s needs.
Hosted by Kate, the ADHD kids can thrive podcast features expert interviews and real-life stories to help parents navigate the challenges of raising children with ADHD. Topics range from executive function and emotional regulation to IEPs, picky eating, and transitioning teens to independence.
The objectives of the podcast are to educate and assist parents with ADHD kids, and to serve as a brand building & lead generation for Kate Brownfield.
The problem was: it wasn’t marketed (despite proposing amazing content), and there was no lead gen system in place.
GHA Marketing did what they do with all podcasts with a business behind it:
- Audited the podcast and made it easier to find (by optimizing discoverability)
- Created a lead funnel at the back end of the podcast
- Repositioned the podcast in terms of titles & branding (especially the thumbnails on Youtube)
- Marketed it. Really.
The business expectations were 30 leads in 90 days. GHA Marketing got Kate 30 leads per month.
Calls started pouring in, so GHA Marketing went above and beyond and helped Kate with some Sales training as well.
Also, the downloads of the podcast were already quite good, but Youtube was underoptimized…
